Association meetings: second Mondays in September, January, and April.
Board meetings: once a month during the school year, and held at least 14 days prior to the Association meeting.

-Date change for a meeting requires written notice to ALL members at least 10 days in advance.
-Permanent change to Association meetings requires a vote for change, and then amending bylaws or adopting new by-laws, sending bylaws to state for review and approval.
-Permanent change to Board meetings requires a board vote, however, the meeting must be at least 14 days prior to the Association meeting.

No, proxy voting is prohibited.
By-laws are written rules and requirements for the operation of the association. All board and association members are required to follow and adhere to the by-laws. Yes, but the change requires amending the by-laws and obtaining written approval of the amended bylaws first.
We retain 6.90 (minus any paypal processing fees). 5.10 from each membership is forwarded to Council; council keeps .35, .50 goes to District, $2 goes to state, 2.25 goes to National).
“The California State PTA membership year is July 1 to June 30. Membership cards in California expire on October 31, allowing a grace period (from July 1 to October 31) for our members to renew their membership. If YOU haven’t joined PTSA yet, now’s the time! Board members and committee chairs are required to join no later than September 30 if they held a membership in the prior year. or sooner if not. Voting requires membership of at least 30 days prior to voting.
